Cho Hakkai

Hakkai's best friend of 4 years. He saved him from dying alone in the middle of the road with his guts hanging out and they've been kicking it together ever since. Their relationship is something like nagging housewife and useless pervert husband without any actual perks of marriage.

Goku is like a nice memory since he's four years younger than when he last saw him. He finds his simplistic way of thinking endearing and thinks there is a lot to be learned from him. He enjoys tutoring, but welcomes a break here and there. He wouldn't trade him for the world.

Supposed to be Hakkai's adversary, but things are weird here. He doesn't know how to feel about him, honestly. But he isn't a bad person. In fact, he's probably a better person fundamentally than his own crew. Not a friend, not an enemy. He can eat with them if he wants, though.

Kate is one of his fellow clinic workers. She's one tough cookie with a knack for reckless behavior and less than brilliant ideas. But her resilience and strength is to be admired and she's always welcome for a drink.

A brilliant doctor. Hakkai appreciates his intelligence and welcomes the intelligent conversations he can have with him. He also appreciates his willingness to help tutor Goku. He looks like he'll need protecting, though.

Dr.Gottlieb's significant other. His use of the word "dude" makes him feel sorry for Dr.Gottlieb. Probably one of those really smart dumb people. Also probably needs protecting.
